The HERITAGE project came to an end in July 2017. A booklet has been published to present the nature and achievement of this both scientific and human experience that changed lives, to be remembered.
HERITAGE is an ERASMUS MUNDUS Partnership (EMA2 strand1) project funded by the European commission.
According to the general goals of ERASMUS MUNDUS Partnership, HERITAGE project aims at fostering structured cooperation between European and Indian higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through the promotion of mobility at all levels of studies for students, doctoral candidates, researchers, academic and administrative staff.
The HERITAGE project is jointly coordinated by Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France and IIT Madras, India. It gathers 18 diversified and complementary Indian and European HEIs, and is supported by 6 associated partners from the corporate, organizational and university realms.
The HERITAGE project provides mobility scholarships for students and staff from India to the 10 European partner HEI. There will be above 140 scholarships to be awarded for 1-34 months depending on mobility type/academic level.
The HERITAGE project focuses on Science and Technology in line with the development priorities of India and Europe, and then responds the expectations of both regions in terms of higher educated human resource for the future.
