| Explanatory text | The Doctoral Degree on River Restoration and Management aims the development and the application of scientific knowledge of environmental sciences, ecology, engineering and urbanism to management and restoration of the fluvial ecological quality, at different spatial scales, from the microhabitat to the river reaches and the drainage area, thus contributing to the sustainable development of human societies and the conservation of natural resources. The emphasis of the course will be on Mediterranean-type rivers and on their peculiarities and specificities. |
