Explanatory text | Research gives you the opportunity to explore the boundaries of knowledge as well as to make your own contribution to advancing your profession. We ensure that the skills you will develop while undertaking a research degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University are relevant and in demand by employers. Before submitting an application you should first contact the appropriate Director of Research to discuss your ideas. Because of the specialised nature of research it is important that there is a good match between your plans and the schools research interests. In addition the school will be able to advise you on the suitability of your qualifications and experience and any additional training you might need prior to starting your study degree. |

Academic Requirements | Applicants should ideally be educated to Masters level in a relevant subject area however the Director of Research may consider other profiles and relevant work experience. All candidates should submit a detailed Research Proposal outlining the project that they wish to undertake. |
